Lambchops (that's code for I'm in a tender loving mood)....we had so much fun at the City of Eugene Fashion Show.  Thanks powers that be, it was really fun. There's Laurel & Jamie, our on site stylists and personal shoppers who helped all our models get ready (which consisted mostly of proffering glasses of champagne and telling them how awesome they looked)....but seriously, these two really brought their A game.

And then some of our brave shopgirls took to the runway.....Deidre went flamenco, wearing Navone and Iron Oxide jewelry with flowers in her hair!

Chelsea rocking some Johnny Was and this awesome Bolivian ceremonial jacket (that you must be uber tiny to wear, but it's really a thing of beauty )....a little bit of lace, a little bit of fringe.....

 

 And our little flowerchild Laura with her feverfew crown and sweet smile all wrapped up in her Pendleton blanket.  Hope we get some more good photos to show you.

Hello Seattle

 

Quickest little road trip to Seattle ever - buying clothes for the store - at trip in which I indulge my passion for boiled wool and velvet (well not together - but the glamorous nature girl needs both in her closet), continue to be amazed by the designs coming from the Johnny Was folks (like the great top shown above now gracing the rack chez Passionflower), had a spectacular bowl of wonton soup in Japantown, and stopped in Portland to cherry pick orchids for the store. Time for this girl to slow down!

Really love selling clothing. When someone finds something that  looks great on them - that you know they're going to wear and feel really good in - that's a good feeling.  I guess I'm in a warm fuzzy I heart my customers mood this morning.

Summer Fashion from Johnny Was

Can we say, "It's all about layering?".....beautiful silk top from Johhny Was.....yummy with a turquoise or teal or orange tank underneath or any one of zillion other ways....wear it to a wedding or wear it to the farmer's market.  Johnny Was is such a great dress up or dress down line.
