T

Some shots from around the store just to      whet your whistle.  Our new art wall.

Found these beauties  at the Las Vegas show.  Who knew?  Cannot wait to start using these crystals with terrariums, air plants, and orchids

And lots and lots of new rings.

Plus new Indian cotton nighties just in time for summer.  Loving being a shopkeep these days.

New front window

It's been really fun collaborating with Terri Wilson at the store and watching her do her magic ....Above , our ode to Marie Kondo.  Loving hearing how the book has been inspiring people to get organized.  Latest little tidbit, when you  let go of something, thank it for all it has done for you and wish it well. So charming,

A little look back through the Passionflower archives....two years ago.....
So many beautiful things have passed through the shop over the years.
Feeling nostalgic and sentimental.

More Mind Blowing Loveliness from the Talented Susan Goodwin

Just some super beautiful images that crossed our email this morning as we're getting ready for our May Day Trunk Show with Susan.

Can not wait to see what she's got up her sleeve!

Some of our Favorite Vases

TBT, in the not so distant past, to when we used to be able to get these milk bottles from Norris Dairy up in Scio.....super miss those bottles. Wish we could still get them.  Wish I had hoarded some of these.

Hippity Hop

And just one more bit of bunny love from the ever talented local artist Katie Swenson. We have a nice selection of her work in stock right now.

Spring Flowers

Easter came and went and it was glorious....if a bit rainy and cold and we heard tales of a hailstorm as well.   And the flowers were  just bursting everywhere - it was all squill and apple blossom and lemon balm and daffodils. And I'll leave you with just a little flower inspiration from our instagram feed.

The Japanes Approach to Rain and a Few Other Things too

This little tome has been selling like crazy at the store.  And there's no doubt about it, the Japanese just have the most charmingly cuckoo relationship to objects. Or at least that's how they write about it.  Case in point, and just in time for the rainy season, these lovely umbrellas from our Japanese friends in Seattle.

Here's what they have to say about umbrellas:

Every year when the rainy season comes around, we are saddened by the onset of the gray skies, soggy wet outdoors jackets and dull umbrellas. Why not use something on a wet day that will cheer you up, bring fun and excitement to every rainy season.
Umbrellas can change your mood, likewise a good choice in an umbrella can lead you to an exciting new day.

A cheerful, lovely umbrella on a gray rainy day can have a contagious effect on those around you. Wouldn't it be nice to have everyone around you enjoying the rain as much as you? You'll soon be looking forward to the next day of rain.

Not only will umbrellas keep away the rain, they are also mood altering substances. Good to know. So bring on the rain and come visit and find the perfect little something to enhance your next rainy day outfit.
